Vazzy's Osteria — Establishment, food, bar and meal takeaway at 415 Main Street, Monroe, Connecticut.

This place is my favorite restaurant in town. I love the menu choices. And for the most part the food is great. Their pizza-like bread served with some sort of garlic sauce is out of this world. We always leave happy, except for last night. Among our order were grilled calamari and mozzarella sticks. The grilled calamari were so dry, so over cooked that it was absolutely impossible to chew them. mozzarella sticks appetizer looked very fatty, we didn’t try it though, so I can’t say how it tasted. Sometimes, once sitted at a table, you will have to wait forever to be noticed by your server. It happened two times to us and I heard another family complaining about it. Our waitress last night was smiling in the beginning, but then looked annoyed and not attentive, which changed again by the end of the meal. Also, depending on what you prefer as atmosphere, this place is very loud during dinner. Inspite of last night experience, we will go there again.

Every time I order for delivery the person on the phone is very rude, food is decent if you got the money to waste
